The New Neighbor

On Saturday morning someone knocked on Mia's door. A young man stood outside with a small plant in his hands. "Hello, I am your new ," he said. "My name is Tom, and I live on the above you." The flat on that floor was empty for a month.
Mia was happy to him. She herself. Tom introduced the plant too: it was a present for his kitchen window. Then he asked about the shops the building. Mia told him about the good bread shop near the bus stop.
Tom's office was in the same street as Mia's office. "So we can walk to work together on Monday," Mia said. "That is ," Tom answered, and he went back upstairs. It was nice to meet a friendly neighbor on the very first day.
